STATEMENT

June 5, 2003

To whom it may concern: This is a true recap of my discussion with. Mr. Greg Keenum in April of 2001 in his Corinth, MS, Office.

  1. Mr. Keenum stated that he was not a criminal attorney and that he did not even like criminal law.
  2. The only reason why he took this case was because Freeda kept begging him to.
  3. Mr. Parker would be out of prison today if he would have taken a plea bargain.
  4. The two younger children will not agree to Mr. Parker being set free, they will state that "Mr. Parker tried to kill them once and if he is set free he will kill us next time".
  5. If you really want to get Mr. Parker out of prison all it will take is a nice contribution to the governors to the governors reelection fund.
  6. Just a nice contribution will do it.
  7. He stated that he had never seen the drawings Mr. Parker had made to show what happened on that night of June 14, 1992.
  8. I have my file on Mr. Parker in my storage room.
