STATEMENT April 10, 2003 To whom it may concern Re: Robert E. Parker CR92-207 1. Charlene kept all the bookeeping and banking ledgers on the dining room table. She was trained to do bookeeping. 2. Only Charlene and our CPA knew how much profit was entered. I only signed the final forms and never asked any questions I trusted Charlene and our CPA. 3. Charlene was teaching Shan how to set up a ledger for keeping the records of our business and how the banking should be done. 4. Charlene had a separate ledger to record how much cash was put in in each safety deposit box and how much was taken out. 5. We had 5 safety deposit boxes. 6. The best I can remember there was between $350 and $400,000.00 cash in the boxes. 7. I kept my collection of gold pieces and uncirculated silver dollars at the Peoples Bank in Booneville. 8. Charlene went to our safety deposit box at the Security Bank in Corinth, Ms and took out a lot of green bills in order to put in a large bag of coins I had collected. The box was packed full of old coins, there was no green bills in it. 9. Charlene had over $25,000 in cash at the house on the night of June 14, 1992. We had been putting off cashing our war bonds and putting that with the cash to buy more cd's. We intended to talk to attorney Donald Franks of Booneville, Ms to get his advise about making us a will. 10. I came home one night after working on the farm and Shan's boy friend was in my bed. I told him, Shan, Jo, and Charlene that "nobody sleeps in my bed ever." I came home a week later they had taken my bed apart and threw it in the back yard. 11. Charlene and I discussed her retiring she decided that she would work Four more months. Then I would have the farm house complete and we could then give Jo the regular house and Shan our lake house. This is a true statement. ROBERT E. PARKER Date: 4/28/03
